Robin’s Egg Blue

The other day I posted about how it can take years to make something, or come up with an idea. I bought this Sterling Silver bead that looks like an egg back in 2005. A long time ago. I never knew what to do with it until the other day. It’s a hollow handmade Sterling Silver bead. It’s exquisite. I paired it up with all Sterling Silver and hand wire-wrapped Robin’s Egg Blue Drusies. The chain goes on forever. It’s 30 inches in length and 100% Sterling. Just put it on over your head, or wear it shorter. I wore this out today to meet up with another jeweler who told me she felt that this was the most precious piece I had ever made. I was really glad to hear that, because I was on the fence about the length, but the super long length is what makes it and it can be worn shorter. To one of my favorite colors…blue.  A photo just can’t capture it’s beauty.  It’s truly a piece of art.
